Oct 18, 2009· On stump grinders where there are two sets of belts and a jack shaft, one usually being an expensive toothed poly belt, it gets more difficult. If the toothed poly belts are ran too lose they slip and tear off the teeth! The polys on my two stumpers run about $300+ ea.!
